Solar Thermal
Solar water heating can provide almost all of your hot water during the summer months, heat your pool and even your towel rails. Our domestic systems help reduce C02 and your energy bills.
Our solar thermal panels can be directly connected to coils installed in our NIBE solar tanks, or to preheat buffer tanks that warm cold water before it reaches your hot water tank. We recommend that all new builds have the infrastructure for solar installed from the plants location to the roof area allowing for easy retrofitting at a later date.
When specifying a solar thermal system Energia UK recommend a system suitable to your needs taking into consideration a range of factors, including the area of south facing roof and the amount of hot water the property will require.
If required all systems can be concealed or disguised by using panels that look like roof tiles or Velux windows. All the component parts are supplied as a kit and installed by qualified engineers.
Solar thermal is a renewable source of energy and goes towards the 10% required by planning departments to gain planning consent.
